THE ADVANCEMENT...politics, technology, business, social development n CSi CARPET

"Nigeriya" yi ti gbogbo wa ni, ko ma gbodo baje*music*. King Sunny Ade had great intentions when he composed the above lyrics, although I doubt if Nigerians believe those lines any longer. Personally I sang the twisted version with Ajasa while I was younger(oti baje tan, America nko,e je ka lo na,), yea I bet you are singing right now.
Away from the general notion that Nigeria has nothing more to give than corruption, bad roads, poor power supply, terrible education*whew* and the host of other negative, Olusola Amusan CEO (OAC)http://olusolaamusan.com/category/critical-success/ convened an independence day "movement" tagged :THE ADVANCEMENT 1.0.
The advancement gathered people of all ages and from all walks of life*primary- professor emeritus* to discuss POLITICS,TECHNOLOGY,BUSINESS and SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT. Most of the speakers stressed the need for individual change in other to achieve societal change. One of the highlights was having secondary school students give short speeches about "The Nigeria of my Dream" *walahi it wasn't a small tin*. The key speakers @the event ranged form the varying walks of life...
